These are sources of funding for our projects and activites.- EU Framework Programmes

We prepare project proposals to published calls for proposals and/or join project consortia within European Framework Programmes for Research and Development.
- International Organisations

We prepared two successful applications to Development Gateway Foundation, and received first the seed funds that enabled us to establish Internet Institute in 2001. In 2003 we also received implementation funding from the same organization.
- Sponsors

Majority of funds for WSA project, WSA 2007 Grand Jury session and eContent Summit have been collected through sponsorships and donations from Croatian companies.
- Donors

Some of our activities are funded through smaller donations from mainly Croatian companies, that often also include donations in kind [equipment, software].
- Self-financing

Being a non-profit association, we invest a largest part of the income earned through commercial activities into our development projects and activities.

As a non-profit organization, Internet Institute is mainly involved in ICT4D [Information and Communication Technologies for Development] projects designed and intended to provide systematic response to targeted sectors’ strategic needs:
Their primary objectives are:
Targeted sectors are small and medium entrepreneurship, civil society, education, state administration [e-government] and media. Current and planned project activities relate to creation of relevant info and data repositories [detailed information on development projects, expert information and studies, etc.] to facilitate development activities’ coordination, education and training programs [online training, distance learning, advanced business services and consultancies], relevant research and publishing.
