Project Idealist-extend was funded in the framework of IST Priority of FP6. Its aim is to reduce the barriers faced by organizations and individuals wishing to participate in the activities of EU Framework Program 6, with particular emphasis on IST Priority. Idealist-extend supports transnational partner searches, provides wide and intensive dissemination of relevant information, supports and trains potential proposers in IST program related questions, identifies experts for call evaluations and brings potential proposers together at Info-days and workshops. As an integral part of the parent project ideal-ist, it represents an extension of focus towards the Southeast of Europe and the Newly Independent States. Idealist-extend and idealist34 jointly cover 41 countries of Europe and the neighboring regions and include Member States, Candidate States and Associated States, as well as Third Countries and International Co-operation countries.
