is a global contest to select and promote the most outstanding achievements in creativity in the field of e-contents and multimedia applications. It is held in the framework of the UN World Summit on the Information Society [WSIS] and it includes 168 countries. Internet Institute participates in the initiative since 2003 by organizing national selection of Croatian nominees for the global contest and by participating in the Grand Jury process. The achievements to date include one award in the category e-science for a Croatian nominee [contest of 2003], setting up the WSA global portal on ITI's wNews CMS and successful lobbying for high patronage from Croatian president.
